Music Ministry

Join together in song, under the talented direction of our different choir directors. If you are interested in joining one of our Choirs please call the office for more info.

Women’s Group

Meetings are held every second Saturday of the Month from 6:30PM to 8:00PM in the Sacred Heart Room which is located in the second floor of the Urban Center.  Babysitting is available.

Pro-Life Rosary

Unite as a community praying the Rosary for the sanctity of all life from conception until natural death. Meditative hymns are sung, along with the recitation of the Rosary. Join us to pray the Rosary every Saturday at 7:30AM in the Chapel of the Urban Center.

Eucharistic Adoration

Every First Saturday of the Month from 8:30AM to 1:00PM in the Chapel of the Urban Center

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets. They meet 4 times a year at the end of each quarter. 

Offertory Counters

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a month. If interested in assisting please call the office. 

Parish Pastoral Council

The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of the Parish. They meet on a monthly basis. 

Usher

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection during the Masses. If interested in becoming part of this ministry please call the office for more information. 

Charismatic Prayer Group

Join us Wednesday nights at 7 pm in the Lower Church to read and reflect upon the upcoming Sunday’s Gospel, Liturgy of the Hours (books provided for new members), and prayer (intercessory, and alternating Rosary or Divine Mercy). Contact the coordinator at (203) 380-380-2094

Altar Server

Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy. For more information please call the office. 

Eucharistic Minister

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. Please call the office for more info.

Fellowship Committee

Volunteers who coordinate social activities and gatherings of parishioners during the year.

Flowers and Grounds

Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church.

Lector

Reader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.

Sacristan

Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.
